Andy's Photoshop Tip #4 - Beveled 3D Button

Make a new file that is square. Choose a light color for the 1st color and then darker

color for the 2nd color. Use the gradient tool and fill the image from dark to light from
the top left corner.

Select all (CTRL A) and click SELECT/MODIFY/BORDER. Type in a small number (I


used 5 for this example). Now fill the selection with the same colors from the opposite side
(bottom right).

The final step is to type any word on the button that you want to. For best results use a
contrasting color that is easy to read. Also, make sure you have anti-aiasing turned on.
