*TEKST

- The text starts with a mother joining social network and the daughter thought
that expressing your opinion online sounded really stupid, but the idea turned
out to have legs
- Her mother is an emerging technology consultant
- In 90s her mother worked with companies who wanted to develop software
and hardware for video conferencing
- The hardware were bulky and expensive. Tech start-ups launched with
fanfare and sank within months
- When she went to college she took a video phone with her. It had a handset,
a cord and a keypad
- Few years later her mother was no longer interested in skype with video, her
interest was in premature things (who are unready to take place in the world.)
E.g. OGMENTED reality glasses and headsets. She invented that even before
Google Glass was even on horizon (hora jzon)
- The girl can tell what users are going to want because she has seen many
things fail and many unlikely things succeed.
