Door interlock switch with guard locking

It means safety switch which is added locking function in door is closed to

foregoing safety switch . This is used in order to prohibit that operator enter
the hazardous area with locking guard when machine is running, or until
machine becomes safe condition . Don’t allow to start machine when the
guard is open or safety switch is unlocked .
This is very important equipment because if unlocking occur during machine
is running , it threaten to pose the critical incident .

 Requirement of guard interlock device

The locking element (e.g. bolt) intended to lock the guard shall be “spring
applied – power-ON released”(we call “Type of spring lock “)

 Prevention of collision between forklifts and
shutters (SE2L)
S-company (Paper manufacturing)
Background
At S-company, forklifts often collide with shutters and they were unable to
take an on-site inspection with the fire department. Although the inspection
was eventually performed with repaired shutters, they were looking for a
solution to prevent collision accidents.

 Prevention of collision with semi gantry crane
(SE2L)
U-company (Aluminum plate manufacturer)
Background
At U-company, workers were operating single leg cranes while watching
overhead operations. This sometimes caused the leg of the crane to hit
workers. Usage of a safety laser scanner was considered with 8 m setting
distance in the beginning, and K-manufacturer was first selected as the
provider. I did not give up and continued collecting information, and learned
that the distance was not 8 m. I responded to their inquiries and concerns
quickly in a sincere manner, which led to this good result!

hanger and lifter (SE2L)

Background
Prevents an operator from being caught between the hanger and lifter.
The hanger moves in the direction of the arrow. When the object on the
hanger approaches the lifter, an operator might get caught between them.
