Pride Sample

First Image: Taking part of the 2019 El Capitan Winterguard program, we competed in world
championships in Dayton, Ohio, in which we competed in three different competitions hoping we would
have performed and placed in the final competition. For the first time in El Capitan High School’s history,
we left a legacy of placing 14th in the world!

Second Image: Although I was not the most popular student at El capitan High School, I decided to run for
the 2021 homecoming king as a joke at first. As the time for the homecoming game approached, I decided
to actually take it seriously and campaign for people to vote for me. To my surprise, students did vote for
me to become homecoming king and I won out of all the 4 boy candidates.

Third Image: Being the first in my family to genuinely care about my education and to plan on further my
education after high school, I applied to many schools in hopes I would hopefully get into at least one.
Being admitted to both California State University Long beach and San Diego State University, both being
the hardest California State Universities to get into, I was surprised when receiving my acceptance letter
from these schools. I am glad to say that I will in fact be continuing my education at my planned school
which is California State University Long beach!
