I am writing this letter with the highest recommendation of Brea Dickey. I have had the privilege to work
with Brea as she has been student teaching in our Health and Physical Education department this year.
Brea is a current Division I Student Athlete at Kennesaw State University and finishing her Bachelor’s in
Health and Physical Education. Brea has stepped up in her role as a student teacher; she has been
involved in the planning and development of our curriculum in the concurrent learning environment due
to the pandemic.
Brea has demonstrated her ability to use and incorporate technology into the health and physical
education classrooms for both in person and digital learners. She has introduced technology and
learning platforms that we had not used in our school before. Brea has also demonstrated her time
management skills by successfully balancing school, student teaching, coaching varsity softball, and
playing college softball.
Brea has gained experience in a variety of courses while student teaching at Peachtree Ridge High
School. She has led body sculpting, team sports, personal fitness, health, and weight training. Given the
unique circumstances of this school year, I believe Brea has developed invaluable skills as a future
educator. These are challenging times for everyone and Brea has continued to work hard and adjust as
needed.
It is my hope that Brea is a strong candidate to become a part of your health and physical education
