Play the first verse and do action number 1 with it –

Do the same for verses 2–6. The action pictures will


show what you have to do. In verse 5, the children can
join in with ‘Move along, please!’ Play each verse a
couple of times until all the children have learnt
the actions.

Step 4

Now sing the whole song all the way through.

Follow-up activity
Arrange six chairs in a line, all facing forwards. The first
is for the driver. Call six children to mime the song as
the class sings.
