HP Series cone crusher
Do you know it is possible to improve your
HP crusher performance still more?
In order to get a high performance in your
equipment, it is advisable to perform daily
inspections, registering the data obtained in
each shift in a spreadsheet, thus making it
possible to detect significant changes in
normal operation conditions.
So it is possible to predict a failure, avoiding
undesirable setbacks that directly affect the
readiness of the installation, with consequent
production loss.
Example:
For HP 100 / 200 / 300 / 400 / 500 crushers,
consider the indicated measures in the
inspections:
A - Lubrication oil temperature:
Machine start >25°C
Turn on cooler 45°C
Turn off main motor 60°C

B - To check and adjust the CSS (Closed Side
Setting) for the type of covering used, aiming
at maximizing the crusher working power,
within the limits indicated on the manual.

D - Do not exceed the main motor nominal
current.
E - Coast down time from 30 to 60 seconds
F - Control the lubricating oil cleanness,
checking the contamination presence by solid
particles in the tank strainer. Keep the strainer
always clean. Check if there is no dirty filter
alarm.
G - Do not operate with contaminated air filter.
Develop a changing routine.
H - When detecting any alarm signal, refer to
the instruction manual.
