Spring Vacation Assignment: English Central

Dear Student,

Thank you for all of your hard work this semester. You will soon be starting your spring vacation in
February. During this time it is too easy for you to lose contact with English and, as a result, for your
level to fall. To help you to keep your English level, we want you to complete a summer vacation
assignment. For this assignment, you will complete weekly tasks using English Central. This application
is a great way to expand your vocabulary knowledge and to practice listening and pronunciation.

The spring vacation assignment will consist of six one-week assignments. The spring assignment will
start on Monday, February 8th and finish on Sunday, March 21st.

It is important that you complete the Watch/Learn/Speak assignments each week. If you do not
successfully complete your weekly assignments, you will receive a penalty of up to -5% of your total
grade. This penalty will affect your grade in both your English A and B course next semester, so it is
important that you take this assignment seriously.

The spring assignment is for both students who will repeat the same level next semester and students who
will move up to the next level.
