1. Assigning Logical System to Client

A logical system is used to identify an individual client in a system, for ALE communication
between SAP systems.

ECC Client = 800

2. RFC Connection Check

Click on ABAP Connection

Then double click on our client T90CLNT090 (We can do remote login from here to ECC)
And Then double click on our client EWMCLNT400 (We can do remote login from here to
EWM)

3. Creating Company - 8099

Accounting →Define Company
4. Creating & Copying Company Code - 8099
Transaction code OX02

IMG menu Spro→IMG→Enterprise Structure →Definition →Financial
Accounting →Edit, Copy, Delete, Check Company Code
5. Assigning Company Code to Company (Company Code 8099 to Company 8099)
IMG menu Spro→IMG→Enterprise Structure →Assignment→Financial

Accounting →Assign Company code to Company.
6. Defining & Copying Plant

A manufacturing facility is called a plant.

→Logistics - General →Define, copy, delete, check plant
7. Assigning Plant to Company Code (Plant 8099 is assigned to Company code 8099)

General→Assign Plant to Company Code
8. Creating Purchasing Organization
The purchasing department is mapped as a purchasing organization in the SAP Sytem.

Management →Maintain purchasing organization

9. Assigning Purchasing Organization to Company Code

IMG menu Spro→IMG→Enterprise Structure →Assignment →Materials
Management →Assign purchasing organization to company code
10. Assigning Purchasing Organization to Plant

IMG menu Spro→IMG→Enterprise Structure →Assignment →Materials
Management→Assign purchasing organization to plant
11. Creating Storage Location


IMG menu Spro→IMG→Enterprise Structure →Definition →Materials
Management →Maintain Storage Location
12. ECC Organization Structure

Tcode = EC01
Goto Structure – Navigation
13. Define & Copy the Warehouse in ECC

Create ECC Warehouse = W88

Save & Copy from standard Warehouse
14. Assign warehouse to plant & storage location
15. Assign warehouse number to warehouse number of decentralized system (Assign

EWM warehouse number to ERP warehouse number)

Assign Warehouse Number to Warehouse Number of Decentralized SCM System
Select ERP warehouse W88 and assign EWM warehouse W888 and save
16. Maintain EWM warehouse specific parameters

Configure SAP EWM-Specific Parameters
17. Procedure to create / Confirm Distribute Model – BD64
First Check in Table TBD06

Identify the Model View - EWMCLNT400
Then Go to Tcode BD64
Go to – EWMCLNT400
Double Click on Receiver Determination

Then go to Warehouse Number, If your warehouse is not present in distribution Model then
double click on Warehouse number to insert your warehouse
Repeat this step for all Distribution model objects
Save
18. Generate distribution Model
SPRO-IMG- Logistics Execution- SAP EWM Integration - Basic Setup of EWM Connectivity-
Generate Distribution Model ERP => EWM
Enter as below
Warehouse Number – W88
EWM’s Logical system – EWMCLNT400
Distribution model view – EWMCLNT400
Execute
Model Object is enabled to transfer data between ECC and EWM

19. Set the confirmation control key
Set the confirmation control key for our plant 8099 and Storage location RTD1
SPRO-IMG- Logistics Execution-Shipping- Deliveries- Define Order Confirmations for Inbound
Deliveries
Enter the data as below
