Molar Mass 74.122 g/mol

Density 809.8 kg/m3

Viscosity 2.593 Pa.s

Vapor Pressure 0.5 kPa

Boiling Point 11.7.7oC

Flash Point 35oC

Volumetric flow rate

= 3.3333×10-3

Pipe diameter

The minimum diameter of pipe was calculated by using the Equation shown as below:

Where,
V - Velocity inside the pipe (m/s),

Q - Flow rate inside the pipe (m3/s), and

D - Diameter of the pipe (m).

D = 0.03478 m

= 1.3693 inch

∴ Hence, the pipe diameter used is 1.3693 inch

Cross-sectional area of pipe

A = 9.5006×10-4m2

Reynolds number

Re = 38,781.24

= 3.8 × 104
Since the Reynold’s number calculated is more than 4000 thus, the flow is turbulent.

Absolute roughness commercial steel pipe using Table 1.2 = 0.046 mm

= 4.1818×10-3

= 0.004
