Tecotherm Neo Update

Discontinuation of TECOmed fluid

Inspiration Healthcare is discontinuing the TECOmed fluid for the Tecotherm Neo and introducing a new simple
solution for our customers around the world.

How does this change impact our customers?

Day-
Day-to-
to-day operation of Tecotherm Neo
• Sterile water will replace the TECOmed fluid
• Regular top up of the device is still required as there may be a small amount of leakage at the couplings
and mattress interface
• Benefits:
o Cost effective, sterile water can be sourced locally onsite in the hospital
o Less evaporation compared to the TECOmed fluid

Cleaning
Cleaning the Tecotherm Neo
• The Tecotherm Neo, hose, and mattress need to be drained and cleaned every 2 months
• Cleaned with a sterile water and chlorine dioxide cleansing solution
• Chlorine dioxide tablets can be sourced locally or purchased through Inspiration Healthcare. A starter pack
of chlorine dioxide tablets will be included in all starter kits purchased from Inspiration Healthcare
• A cleaning loop will be made available for customers using a disposable mattress, to bypass the mattress
during cleaning. This will also be included in the starter kits purchased from Inspiration Healthcare
• Benefits:
o Simple and inexpensive solution for cleaning
o No need to clean the Tecotherm Neo after every use (as with other devices on the market)
