AP World Week of 4/13

All work is due by 5:00 PM on the day assigned by sending to akiste@piedmontclassical.com. Keep in
mind that you must use academic integrity at all times (no copying a classmate or using the internet or
books to help you unless otherwise noted. A lack of academic integrity will result in a zero for a grade).

Monday: No School

Tuesday:
-Read p. 835-839
-As you read, create a list and explain the long- and short-term causes of WWII

Wednesday:
-Read p. 840-847
-Look up (using your book and the internet) and research how each of the following nations conducted
themselves during WWII: USSR under Stalin, Germany under Hitler, USA under Roosevelt, Britain under
Churchill. After identifying these, come up with as many similarities and differences as possible

Thursday:
-Timed C/C Essay (35 minutes): “Explain the relative significance of the causes of global conflict in the
period 1900-1945.”

Friday:
-Test 7 (Multiple Choice and SAQs, timed)
