To Whom It May Concern,

I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Lydia DeFazio for an elementary teaching
position. Lydia student taught in my 4th grade classroom for eight weeks at Cambria Elementary.

During her time at Cambria, she has proven to be a hardworking and caring teacher, who
instantly made connections with the students. Lydia started working with students on her first
day in the classroom, and handled every situation, task, and challenge like an experienced and
tenured teacher. Lydia was extremely flexible and self reflected continually based on student
reactions and interests.

Lydia collaborated with myself and the other members of the 4th grade team daily, and shared her
ideas and resources with the teachers. She included all different types of learners and
incorporated technology, projects, and activities that were age appropriate and engaging.

It was truly a great pleasure to have Lydia in my classroom, and the students grew very attached
to her. Although it was hard to see her leave at the end of her eight weeks, I can say with full
confidence that she is ready to have a classroom of her own in any elementary position. Her
confidence, flexibility and her ability to relate to students sets her apart from other candidates
and I think she would make a great addition to any school and team.
