Every 29 April is International Dance Day, a day set aside by the International Dance Council to

promote public awareness of the “art of dance”. The date was chosen because it is the birthday
of famed French dance artist Jean-Georges Noverre,  This day is a celebration day for those who can see
the value and importance of the art form “dance”.

Today we are going to speak about our Ukrainian dance which has been a vital part of the Ukrainian culture.
there are a number of dance troupes in Ukraine that keep this significant part of their heritage alive.
