To Whom It May Concer 1am writing this letter of recommendation for Mrs, Anna Underhill. I currently work with Anna as her supervisor at Manual Middle School Academy in the 2018-19 school year. [ observed Anna’s work and collaborated with her as colleagues at Manual, where she serves as our 7-8" English/Language Arts Teacher and our Rtl Interventionist. Mrs. Underhill displays the following skills and/or characteristics: *She possesses a strong commitment to providing quality curricula/instruction to meet all students’ needs. *She cares deeply for children and is a great role model to her students. *She brings out the best in others by not accepting less than 100% from her students and/or herself, She works to meet the needs of every student she serves yet challenges them to reach his/her full potential. ‘These are just a few of the qualities I have observed in Anna Underhill. Anna is the type of person who seeks to improve and excel at everything she does as an educator and professional. Anna serves on our Manual MS P.L.C. Team, Manual MS MTSS/PST Team, 7th Grade Team, 8" Grade Team, and the Manual Building PBIS ‘Team. Also, Anna supervises our ACE/ISS Room daily to work with our most challenging, at-risk students. Additionally, she leads, organizes, and implements our Manual MS Rt program as our only Rt! Interventionist. She works with all our students, either in small groups or one-on-one, to provide reading supports/services for students in Tier 2 and/or Tier 3 at Manual Middle School. Mrs. Underhill provides all teams and all students with valuable feedback, informative data, and extra supports/services we need to make academic progress. She focuses on our goals: Provide the best educational supports/services to all students so each reaches his/her maximum potential in order to sueceed in school and life. also observed Anna demonstrating these strengths: *She is versatile, flexible, and willing to learn any tasks assigned to her. “She listens to and respects the ideas of students, peers, and supervisors *She effectively solicits, listens to, and respects the ideas of others while providing services to diverse groups For all the reasons listed above, I can recommend Mrs. Anna Underhill as an educator for any school.
