I am writing this letter with the highest recommendation of Brea Dickey. I have had the
opportunity to work with Brea this year during her student teaching at Peachtree Ridge High
School. Brea has demonstrated professionalism and time management skills this year. While
teaching full time, she is finishing her degree in Health and Physical Education while also being
a Division I Student Athlete at Kennesaw State University. In her role as student teacher, Brea
has been a very valuable asset to our department. During this year, I have witnessed how Brea is
a team player and willing to go above and beyond to produce engaging content for the students
in an in-person and digital setting.

Brea has brought an entire new dynamic to our department and curriculum this year. She is very
skilled in her ability to implement technology. Brea has taught veteran teachers how to use and
utilize a variety of technology platforms to make content more engaging and beneficial for the
students. She has a diverse skill set, which has allowed her to excel at teaching a variety of
courses.

One of Brea’s major attributes is her ability to adapt and attack any challenge head on. While
remaining clam, poised and ultimately excelling when delivering content to the students. During
her time at Peachtree Ridge Brea had the opportunity to work with in-person and digital students.
She has created content, lesson plans and taught: Health, Personal Fitness, Recreational Games,
Body Sculpting and Weight Training. This is every course offered in our department. I am proud
of her growth and development over the course of this year and am excited to see her continue to
excel educating and building relationships with students.

Ms. Dickey is student focused and would serve as an asset to any Health and Physical Education
Department. She has remained positive and openminded among all the changes currently taking
place in education during the pandemic. This illustrates her ability to see any set back as an
opportunity to grow and make positive change. With a strong emphasis on the students supported
by her high work ethic and team mentality, Brea will certainly thrive in a rigorous academic and
athletic environment.

It is my hope that strong consideration will be made regarding Brea becoming a member of your
Health and Physical Education Department.
