Awa is 14 years old now. Today, June 13th, is her birthday. Awa lives in a very nice house with her
family in Grand-Mbour II. Today, there are many people here. The music starts at 6 o’clock in the
evening. Her friends and cousins are dancing in the yard. They are eating and drinking too. Her mother
is in the kitchen. She is wearing a brown wrapper, a blouse and a headscarf. Awa is wearing a pink
skirt, a white shirt and red shoes. I like her clothes.
