4th ASEAN Scout Jamboree

Greeting from Bangkok!

On behalf of National Scout Organization of Thailand in cooperation with ASEAN Scout

Association for Regional Cooperation (ASARC) will organize the “4th ASEAN Scout Jamboree”
27th Nov. to 4th Dec. 2013 at Vajiravudh National Scout Camp, Chonburi, Thailand. On this
occasion, we are cordially inviting you to sent Scouts and Leaders to participate in this event.
Please kindly find the attachment of the 4th ASEAN Scout Jamboree Bulletin No. 01 for more
details.
Belowed are information of the Jamboree.
Date : 27th Nov. – 4th Dec. 2013
Participants are requested to arrive on 27th Nov. and leave the jamboree site
on 4th Dec., 2013
Venue : Vajiravudh National Scout Camp, Sriracha, Chonburi, Thailand
Jamboree Objectives:
- In conjunction with The Chief Scout of Thailand His Majesty the King’s 86th
Birthday Celebrations
- Prepare the youths for the formation of ASEAN Community
- Strengthening Scouting relationship in APR & ASEAN
- Increase Scouting knowledge and skills to develop themselves in their life and
home country
- Promote ideas and cultural interaction

Jamboree Fee : 150 USD (Participants & ISTs)

The fee covers food, tentage, on-site activities, Jamboree souvenirs, cooking
utensils, insurance and inland transportation between Airport and the
Jamboree site.
Expected
Participants : 5,000 Scouts and Leaders from NSOs in ASEAN Country and from all over
the World
Eligibility : Young people (Boys and Girls) aged 12 – 17 years old and adults leader
and IST aged 18 – 45 years old.
Programme Highlight : Opening & Closing Ceremony, Exciting Challenge Adventure, Survival
Skill, Campfire, Pioneering, ASEAN & APR Exhibitions, ASEAN Cultural
night, Campfire etc.
For those who plan to join the Jamboree, please fill up the electronic registration form and
sent to the 4th ASEAN Jamboree Office, National Scout Organization of Thailand at
nsot@scoutthailand.org by 31st Oct 2013. It would be please if you could share this
information with your members and organize contingent to the above event. Thank you very
