Law Library Information for Graduating SLS Students

Returning Library Books

If you are on campus, please return books to the outside book drop located next to the entrance
by the CERAS building, near the intersection of Galvez Street and Bowdoin Lane.

If you are away from campus and in the US, we ask that you mail your law library books to the
following address:
Access Services Department
Stanford Law Library
559 Nathan Abbot Way
Stanford, CA 94305.
Please contact circulation@law.stanford.edu to request a free UPS shipping label. In your email,
provide packaging information and indicate the zip code the package is coming from.

Kindly contact the Law Library if you have library books checked-out and are living outside the
US at circulation@law.stanford.edu

Alumni Access to Law Library Facilities

The library space is currently closed and will likely remain closed beyond June 15, the day that
your SUNet ID cards are scheduled to expire. However, you are eligible to request a SLS alumni
library card by completing the following form. Form applications will be processed when the
library staff is able to return to campus. If you have questions about the form, please contact the
Access Services Department at circulation@law.stanford.edu. Your alumni card will give you
lifetime access to the law library and allow borrowing of up to five items at a time. We look
forward to welcoming you back into the law library space when we reopen.
