I know Eldor Sotvoldiev as a teacher of Economics and Economics related modules for the last
three years of his studies at the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent
(MDIST). I am happy that he decided to continue his studies further at the master’s level. I
believe he has all qualities needed to finish his studies successfully. I think his willingness to
learn and dedication towards his field of study is one of the most important qualities that drove
him last three years to make exponential growth in his studies.
Generally, from my long experience most of my students find Economics as a fairly difficult
course as it involves a continuous reading of a large number of abstract materials, finding logical
connection of theory with policy issues, conducting high level of analytical and quantitative
work. But during the lessons and assessments I found him to be focused on his studies and
academic pursuits, completing all assignments that fully meet or exceed expectations.
His strong mathematical background allows him to understand and apply quantitative issues. He
has also been an active member of a research club where he also acquired quantitative skills.
It is pleasure to have a student like Eldor in the class. His friendly and positive attitude to the
teacher and students is impressive. Throughout the classes he has been active in discussions with
his questions and his opinions about the issues being discussed, always collaborates, and
supports his peers. His English is excellent.

I believe that Eldor has the great potential to become a professional in area of business and
economics, making him an excellent candidate for your school. Therefore, I highly recommend
