Switzerland
When I think Of Switzerland I personally remember the scene from Twilight (Yes I liked
Twilight what teenage girl didn’t) when Edward and Jacob are fighting again and Bella says,
“I’m tired of this from now on I’m Switzerland okay?” Switzerland has always been seen as a
neutral country. With good reason, Switzerland is surrounded by heavy mountain ranges that
make it very difficult to attack or at the very least make attacking not profitable. Switzerland is
surrounded by France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy and Slovenia. Switzerland has two
capitals, one administrative, Bern, and one Judicial, Lausanne. Geneva, Switzerland is home to
many Governmental and non-governmental organizations, such as those associated with the UN.
Switzerland’s rugged topography and the fact so many people from different cultures live there,

participate at every level of politics and regularly exercise their will in referenda
and initiatives, through which Swiss citizens directly make numerous policy decisions at
the national and subnational level. Two effects of this popular involvement are evident:
Swiss taxes are rather low by European standards, because voters are able to review and
I find that idea to be interesting, everyone has a say in their government and if there is an issue it
must be resolved before any laws are made. To be perfectly honest, Switzerland sounds like
paradise.
