ANSWER (a)

The main problem faced by Millat Tractors Limited was that the company was not privatized. Also they
were not doing the assembling of the products initially which was again a problem and they were not
having the manufacturing facilities. Moreover, the share of company was very less initially later than the
share increased. Afterwards, there was lack of innovation and modification.

Answer (b)

They could have come up with new innovative ideas and do market development and market
penetration.

They can also do vertical integration likewise they did earlier.

They should come up with new ideas to increase their share in the market.
