Calapan City eases pandemic rules, allows 2 passengers per tricycle
In our group’s opinion, this idea of 1 people per tricycle was absolutely good, because it is for
the safety of the driver especially its passengers. It is an absolute necessity for the driver to
consistently wear veil and gloves while the traveler should wear cover and face shield. Fare
would be okay than you want to save money but you are different on a tricycle. We did not
know that the person next to us turned out to be positive for Covid - 19. Also, Fare would not
be given straightforwardly to the driver however put in a container that ought to be essential
for the tricycle frill. The cash repository ought to be routinely disinfected. Penalty for
infringement is a fine of P1,000 to P3,000 for the subsequent offense. Admission would stay at
P10 for the initial two kilometers and P1 per extra kilometer.
Possible Solution
The city of calapan is currently permitting two travelers in a tricycle. The facilitating of the one-
traveler per tricycle rule came as the city advances to changed general local area isolate
(MGCQ). The statute indicates where the travelers would sit in the tricycle. One would involve
the sidecar and the other would be at the rear of the driver. The travelers, nonetheless, might
be permitted to sit in the sidecar together during crises in the event that one has uncommon
necessities like if the traveler was a senior resident, a PWD or a native individual needing help.
A defensive shield ought to be utilized between the driver and the traveler at his back.
Conclusion
Article 1
Every city has different ways of coping up with the pandemic. Many livelihood jobs were
affected, and for safety measures the usual 2 person in each tricycle was forbidden in some
cities. However in Calapan, they allowed one passenger inside the vehicle while the other’s at
the back of the driver. As long as they follow the safety protocols and doesn’t give the money
directly at the driver. This way, it helps the drivers to make more customers instead of having
one, especially during this time. Furthermore, an odd-even scheme is followed so that the
number of driver’s not jampacked. All of us are struggling in this pandemic and by just allowing
this would be a help to our fellow Filipinos.
Article 2
This kind of tragic circumstances is inevitable, but it can be prevented. With the deaths of 7
soldiers, it would’ve been avoidable if they double checked the engines beforehand. This is
something every transportation sector should look into closely. The safety of the passengers
and the pilot are at stake if one thing’s missed. It can never bring back the loss for the families
of the victims. It would be a lesson to always have a back up before we take off. Having a safe
flight is what we aim for.
