Social pressure is a pretty strong force- it forces you to go to college, go and get a degree, get a decent

job, get a house, marry at the right time and to the socially acceptable person and things like that.
Which means if you do network analysis, you will as a so called autonomous agent have very little
influence in the network or even if you think you do what everyone does or says collectively will have a
strong collective influence over you and so relatively speaking you will have very little influence unless
you are a dictator, a blood thirsty criminal running a gang etc. If you don’t get influenced you are either
out of the network or you are so powerful that you are creating networks of your choosing which
requires gathering enough resources to do so.
