Introduction
You are in-charge of advertising a sports event at your college or organization. There is a
task that you need to perform.

Directions and Analysis


You are in charge of advertising a sports event at your college or organization. You need to
perform any one of these tasks:

1. Using desktop publishing software, create a newsletter for the sports event and apply the
design principles learned in the lesson. Ensure that your idea is properly conveyed and
that the newsletter is grammatically correct.
or
2. Prepare a program schedule (itinerary) for an intra-college sports event using a word
processing software program. Apply proper margins and other formatting using word
processing guidelines to make your program schedule readable and attractive. Save the
document with a meaningful file name and make a printout of it.
