Introduction:

An online class is a course conducted over the Internet. They are generally conducted through a
learning management system, in which students can view their course syllabus and academic
progress, as well as communicate with fellow students and their course instructor.

During pandemic of Covid-19 in Bangladesh, all kinds of the educational institution were closed
for a long time. As a result, a lot of students face the educational gap and grow a chance of session
jot. Which was a curse for any students. Bangladesh govt along with UGC decided to start online
class sessions aiming to avoid session jot and other critical matters. Online class started randomly
since 27April 2020. But many students face problems in this method in a various way and UGC
work on this problem. In the future, Bangladesh will improve its technological advantage so that
in this type of situation Students and employers get not hamper.

Problems:

Unfortunately, this online session method was new for a lot of Bangladeshi students and they face
a lot of problems such as like not having a smartphone or other advance technology, weak internet
connection, expensive to buy internet data, often lost internet connection, lack of interaction
between teacher and students, often students lost its concentration to the topic, risk of privacy
protection.

Expectations:

These problems remind us that we are backdated in terms of technology than other developed
countries like France, German, Japan, Singapore, China, South Korea and others. Time is a
priceless thing; we have to move on with it. Bangladeshi people besides the world people don't
know when this pandemic will end. So, we can't wait for its end. We have to move on our education
process through this online session and we need our government support for this.

Research:

We use qualitative method for this assignment, we asked some of students who conduct the online
class method. Ashraf Kabir students of BUP in IR department, he conducts with online classes
since 2 April; he said “online classes help us to continue our semester without risking of session

jot”. Besides BUP provides financial support to these people whose economic condition poor.
Another student of Daffodil International University Mahmud Hasan Akib (CSE department) said
without lab classes they continue their next semester. Their teacher motivated them to use
technology for their educational purposes.

Recommendation:

An online class needs a proper internet connection and advanced technology. Institutions and
students need to cooperate with it. Some problems will arise that need to be solved. Online class
session needs to start in every institution as soon as possible because time won't stop for anyone.
The government knows that Students are the future of this country, so the government never
wanted to hamper the student's carrier. The government's strong attention to technology is highly
recommended.

Conclusion:

Though a lot of criticism on the online class method. It needs for every institution in Bangladesh.
Because there will no surety of future pandemic and online class is part of digitization. Online
class method reminds us of the place of the advanced technology around the world. It could be the
best way to learn something to stay at home.
