List of Registered Voters per City/Municipality in Cavite

 This data is derived from Commission on Elections (COMELEC). It is the number of
registered voters in Cavite as of 2019. COMELEC gathered the data because they are responsible
for voter registration.

It is the duty of the voter to elect the right candidate who will be running the affairs of the
government Knowing the number of voters in an area is very essential to the government so they
can know they have the basis of the number of votes that they can expect in an election. Because
the number of votes cannot exceed the number of voters in an area, and it can be an instrument
for a fair and just election.

It is also important for the politicians, to know what area they need to focus on when campaign
period comes. The number of voters can be also a basis for census and sometimes for relief
operations they are almost the same with census.

I learned from this data that right now there is a significant increase of voter population in Cavite
compared to the number of voters last presidential election in 2016. Last 2016 there were only
1,843,163 registered voters in Cavite but right now 2,148,899 registered voters. That increase in
voters can help choose the right person to vote next election.
