Electric Sheep: Is Technology Neutral…...!

This video reveals the two facets of the technology that technology can be neutral and

can be not. However, both arguments are needed to be verified by more research. Though it is

a fact that we are the developers of algorithms and all the other technologies so none can

have better control over them than human beings. Simultaneously, algorithms are intelligent

enough to learn as they are influencing us because they are learning human psychology.

Michal Kosinski says, "I think you are right that when it comes to artificial intelligence, it

might not necessarily be neutral."  I believe that his argument is acceptable because if

technology would be under control than it would never affect human beings. There are a lot

of examples some of them are also discussed in the video which helps to understand how

human beings are under control of the technology. Therefore, it can be added that human

beings have traveled far away and we cannot return because technology is as important as

oxygen is. Well, still there is a chance of controlling the negative effects if and only if all the

influences of the technology are measured and accepted by the people alike.
