I am happy to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Emma Alexander. I coached her in both

water polo and swim from the time she was a high school freshman to a junior. She has been a pleasure to

coach and we will miss her greatly in her transition from high school to college.

Emma is a very determined person who can achieve anything she puts her mind to. She thrives in friendly

competition and is always trying to better herself. She has demonstrated an intense dedication to what is

important to her, that being school and previously aquatic sports. While participating in water polo and

swim, she also maintained an impressive GPA of over 3.5. Emma is incredibly considerate of others´

time, and never once struggled with time management. She showed up every day ready to go with a

positive attitude, ready to push herself further than the previous day. In addition to being a great student

and team player, Emma is the ideal teammate. She encourages others to be the best versions of themselves

and treats others with the utmost kindness and respect. She has been at her current job for nine months

now, and continues to thrive in both her schooling and employment.

Overall, Emma Alexander is the perfect candidate for any educational or other opportunities to advance

her career. She speaks of plans to attend Merced College after high school, and intends on saving her hard

earned money for future tuition. Her grasp on finances and practicality at such a young age has left me

impressed. We will miss her greatly.
