Art-based poetry

Like an unblinking eye, the window to the soul

Always seeing yourself in others somehow.
Beauty and pain have outdone themselves
Telling stories without mouth nor hand
A twisted harmony only nature could behold.
Her soul housed agony for a lost child,
An emotion in a human vessel
Inexclusive, demanding to be felt.
Picasso himself could not help but be moved
For he was not just himself, but her as well.
Based on ¨The Weeping Woman¨ by Pablo Picasso
