Heart Rate

Before you begin your activity

A. Find your heart rate, using your index and middle finger, by placing the fingers on the caridic artery
on your neck.

B. Count the pulse for 10 seconds.

C. Then multiply that number by 6 to get "The beats per minute".

(the most accurate resting heart rate is when you first wake up in the morning or lay down for 3
minutes without moving)

To get your heart rate up, jog in place for 1 minute.

Lastly, to get your "Recovery Heart Rate", walk around for 1 minute (cool down).
