1. Discipleship is a term used to describe a pupil or follower of any mentor

or school. A disciple also applies knowledge that was taught to
him/her.

2. A believer/follower understands the teachings of the master and lives by

his word. A disciple follows his master physically and applies what he
has been taught by teaching it to others or using his knowledge to set
examples.

4. A disciple must:

I. Elevate faith over family: This means that the person should be willing to
spend more time being faithful to God than with their loved ones( family
and friends).

II. Models sacrifice yourself-centeredness: A person would have to give up

their possessions ( career, family, friends, and money.) and spend more
time with God.

III. Should be willing to accept pain rather than always expecting pleasure: A
person should be willing to give up his/her pleasure and joy to endure
pain and suffering to be more with Jesus/God.

IV. Elevates relationship over religion: A disciple should spend more time
Loving God than worshipping/following God.
V. Be useful to God rather than useless: A disciple's purpose is to preach
the gospel and to praise God but, if he/she gets contaminated by sin then
that person is no longer useful to God.

5. No, because I too have been contaminated with sin; therefore, I have lost
my purposefulness.
