Romulus had three hundred soldiers for protection not only at war but also at peace.
Due to Romulus, the city of Rome was powerful and had peace for four hundred years
after he passed away. Titus Livius told the story about the death of Romulus. While he
had a public assembly in the Campus Martius, suddenly there was a storm with great
noise and covered the king with a thick cloud, and the people feared. After the storm,
when there was light, the Romans didn’t see Romulus, and after that Romulus was not
on the earth.
