1 Version introduction

1.1 The following versions can be upgraded.

The following versions can be upgraded to

CUN-L03C482B109\CUN-L03C482B114\CUN-
L03C482B116
CUN-L03C482B129

1.2 Upgrade prerequisite

The CUN-L03 handset software should be updated with the SD card which is
more than 2G.

1.3 Upgrade files

File Name

2 Upgrade preparation

2.1 Check current upgrade environment

Make sure that the SD card is available and can be read and write.

2.2 Confirm the upgrade package is complete and correct

Obtaining the upgrade file, ensure that the update is complete and correct.

3 Upgrade operations

3.1 Normal upgrade (Recommend)

Step 1. A SD card of 2G or more should be available. No special restrictions on the

SD card .

Step 2. Format the SD card (This operation is optional).

Step 3. Copy the package which is named UPDATE. APP to the SD card/dload folder

directory, If the package name isn’t UPDATE. APP, rename it. If you do not

dload folder, New.

Step 4. Insert the SD card into the handset and power on. After entering the home

screen, press menu key to choose Settings -> Updater->Menu->Local update

->Confirm ->Confirm to start the upgrade. Reference to the following pictures.

Step 5.

When the progress bar stop, the phone will restart, if not you need to remove

the battery and start it manually.

3.2 Key combination to upgrade

Step 1. A SD card of 2G or more should be available. No special restrictions on the SD

card .

Step 2. Format the SD card (This operation is optional).

Step 3. Copy the package which is named UPDATE.APP to the SD card/dload folder

directory, If the package name isn’t UPDATE.APP, rename it. If you do not dload folder,

New.

Step 4. Turn off the phone,press the power and volume up key,Don’t Loosen the hand

until enter the “Recovery model”

Step 5. Hold down the power button to turn off the phone, then press and hold the volume

up key simultaneously, until the phone screen appears HUAWEI power words when let go

(if the phone appear as in Figure 7, press the power button plus volume keys) to enter

Recovery mode interface. 

Step 6.  After entering the Recovery mode interface, in this interface, press the volume

keys to move the cursor to "apply update from sdcard" upgrade mode, press the power

key to select enter, select UPDATE.APP file, SD card upgrade package into the upgrade.

4.1 Notes 1

To make sure that the power of the battery is enough to run the upgrade

process. Maybe you can connect the handset with the charger or the USB data cable

to provide power.

4.2 Notes 2

If there is something very important, recommend you to backup them.
