Can you add a key for what exactly the intelligence levels
mean? I'm thinking of them in terms of animal intelligence, but
then some of them have in their descriptions that they can
speak and understand any language, which makes little to no
sense for a creature that is also stated to be "dumb" or "below
average". Additionally, the system seems to be more weighted
toward creatures that are vertebrate-like in nature. This is fine,
but it doesn't offer a variety of different body types to work
with. For example, by selecting the "odd" category 5 different
times, i managed to get one quadruped, one winged biped,
and two creatures that had two limbs only, and they just seem
like mostly basic vertebrates. I understand that adding an
additional category for "amorphous" or "radial symmetry"
might be difficult, though, and that's just a small nitpick.

Overall, great generator! Great results and I love using it.

Hi! The Species Gen hasn't been updated for a long
time, but I did recently get a request to add an aquatic
option, and I'd like to add avian creatures as well, so it
IS due for an update. It is geared towards vertebrates,
yes, but I'll see what other options I can work with.
Similarly, I've been asked for changes to the
description part, with more details, etc, so I'll rejig that
area and also make sure the intelligence levels and
skills match one another. I'm currently working on
updating the Family Gen, so this will be next after that.

To quote what I said to another user who asked for
images:

"Because of the thousands and sometimes even

millions of combinations the Gens produce, it's not
possible to have pictures to go with the results; there'd
be no way to get them to match!

But also, having a picture that basically says "THIS is

what the results look like" would take away from having
the user imagine for themselves what the results look
like, based on the descriptions; that way, everyone
comes up with something unique, rather than everyone
working from the same template."

To add to that, I can't create an engine that could draw

something so complicated, based on the randomised
text instructions and look good at the end (I'd need to
hire NASA to build me a super-computer or
something...). And alternatively, to either try to find
images online or draw all the individual options for
every Gen myself so that the Gen messily smooshes
them together in an awkward collage... I think my hair
just turned a little grey thinking about that...

enormous black eyes on the back of its head, a bulbous nose,
multiple ear holes and an indented jaw.
It has rounded shoulders, a narrow chest, a thick waist, and a

clawed hands, and eight bat wings. It has short, muscular legs
and hooked talons.
The Ten-Gi's head, back, outer arms and outer legs are
covered in rubbery skin, and the rest of it is covered in patchy

choose what you want, as far as the type goes. For example, if
