• Your report must not be a cut and paste (word for


word) from the main text. Penalty will be imposed in
such a case.

• Facts must come from other sources as well. They


must not be just cut and paste but must be carefully
rephrased.

• Remember this is report writing – your own writing.


Not the authors’ writing.

• There will be 1 report covering all PBL sessions.

What to put in Front Matter

Title Page
• This page should have full title of the report, name of
the writer(s) and date of submission

Acknowledgement
• This page acknowledges any special help or
assistance you may have received or if you have
used or reproduced material with special permission

Table of Content
• This will permit the reader to preview the contents of
a report. It also aids a reader who may want to look at
certain sections of the report. For this reason, the
wording of the chapter and section titles in TOC
should be identical to those in the report

Reference

is a list, in alphabetical order of all sources of information you have


used to prepare the report. They could be books, journals, and articles
on the Internet
