Dear Student,

This communication is in continuation of the earlier circular from the office of

Associate Director (Academics) on January 23, 2021. As mentioned in the above
circular, this is about the additional final opportunity extended to those students
who had registered for the Online End Semester examinations and were not able
to successfully login / complete the examination process due to technical glitches.
For all such cases, the result will be declared as ‘I’ Grade/ previous grade obtained
as applicable and such students are eligible to appear for the additional
examination detailed as follows:

This examination is scheduled to be held from March 15, 2021 to March 27,
2021. The detailed timetable will be communicated soon.

The examination will be conducted in Online mode with the following options:

OPTION 1:
Students may appear for examinations at MIT, Manipal under faculty
invigilation. Students need to carry the gadgets for writing the examination as it
was done in the previous case of online examination. However, in case of any
disruption in connectivity, students will be admitted back into the process by the
Invigilator. The exam hall, seating arrangements etc. will be notified to the
students who opt for this option.

OPTION 2:
Students may appear for the examination remotely at the location of their choice
with proctoring as per the existing regulations (exam from home). In this case it
is the responsibility of the student to ensure the uninterrupted connectivity during
the entire examination period.
Please note that this will be the final chance provided for writing the exam in
online mode to complete your VII semester papers. Those who think that it is
important for moving ahead with their career plans, may try to make the best use
of it.

It is mandatory to fill the required details through the MS Form using the link
given below. This link will be operational during February 10 - 16, 2021.

In case a few of the students either did not make use of any of the above two
options or could not successfully complete this online exam, they will be given
one last opportunity to write the exams in offline mode during makeup
examinations to be held in June/July, 2021.

If you need temporary accommodation in the campus for writing the above
exams, please contact the Chief Warden. However, your request will be
entertained only against the availability of the rooms. Those who want to stay in
the campus need to produce RT-PCR test report done within 72 hours before
reaching the campus.
