• Minimum education requirements for US CPA exams and license is

120 and 150 as mentioned above
• General rule: Every year of university education is equivalent to 30
semester credits of US education
• Few points to note :
• If under-graduation (e.g., B.Com) is completed in 1st division from a NAAC ‘A’
university in India, the 3-year B.Com would be treated as 4 years of US
education, i.e., 120 credits for B.Com alone
• Professional qualifications like CA/ACCA recognized by few states as 2 years
of US education
