 3 different kinds of Balance
1. SYMMETRICAL BALANCE

Symmetrical balance is achieved by arranging elements on either side of the center of a


composition in an equally weighted manner. Symmetrical balance can be thought of as
50/50 balance or like a mirror image.

2. ASYMMETRICAL BALANCE

In asymmetrical balance, the two sides are not identical, but differ from one another.
However, the elements are arranged so that there is a sense of balance.

3. RADIAL BALANCE
Radial balance is a visual balance based on a circle with its design extending from center.
Radial balance is achieved when there is a central focal point with other elements
radiating from it or around it. An example would be a round dining table, with chairs
arranged around it. There is a lot of repetition of form, texture, and color. In the example,
the flower at top the table is the focal point.
