I started by creating an indesign document and laying out my own
guides. When I was happy with the size of my columns and the
layout, it was time to bring in the text. I justified the type to give
it a neat and clean finish. Now, I went into Illustartor and used my
sketches to create the graphics. For this design I created a glue
bottle head and string of crazy glue. It truned out great!

This layout required lots of careful planning. I worked hard to have

the type interact with the graphics. Playing with height and levels
was key to this design. After creating the images in illustartor,
I began to mess with the page arrangement. I’m still deciding
if I have too many images for this layout. I can’t tell if it’s fully
balanced.

I really like the idea of working the text around things glued to the
ceiling. I created graphics in illustrator so I had plenty of shapes to
work with. I wanted to play with having a graphic underneath the
text at the end. I think it creates a more balanced finished. For this
one, I kept the title in bold, but still pretty simple compared to my
next spread.

I had a lot of fun playing with size and scale for this layout. I
wanted the type to feel like it was lifting up the superglue. While,
the columns aren’t symmetical in height, i think the composition
still has balance. I’m excited to get feedback on this one.
