Research/Project Objectives:

 Identify and understand our customers: We had decided to identify who all are our
customer and have an idea about what our customers want, but it will vary from person
to person. So we had created a questioner survey basically to identify the problems of
the customers not visiting to the restaurant and to have further improvement.
 Get to Know our Target Market: We will dive deep into specific local competitors by
dining at each, collecting or photographing menus, studying the price ranges, service
speed and quality, and peak times. We’ll also look more closely at comparing the
competition. Beyond personal observation, we will try to speak with nearby
restauranteurs and real estate professionals for more insight about what kind of
individuals work, live or dine in the area. So that we can identify our target market.
 Remain on Trend: As a business owner, we will try to have a complete understanding of
how customer’s preferences are changing. And accordingly we will try to update our
menu list and ambiance to attract customers.
 Generating Restaurant Traffic: Our restaurant marketing plans will focus on generating
restaurant traffic, which means growing the client base and having busier lunchtimes
and dinner services. There are several ways to attain this objective, such as intensive
marketing campaigns using email and social networking pages. Other marketing
strategies include monthly or weekly specials, coupons, and gift-card promotions. We
will also incorporate takeout or delivery services to accommodate prospective
customers that do not typically dine out.
 Building the Restaurant Brand: We will try that our restaurant seek to improve the
position in the local market and strengthen the brand. We will also try to be simple as
creating an innovative restaurant name and logo that becomes a household name. It
may also include advertising the restaurant’s atmosphere and concept.
 Managing Customer Relations: It's impossible to please every customer that ever walks
through the front doors of our restaurant, but knowing how to appease even the most
irate diner will help spread positive word-of-mouth about our business. We will make
sure to train our wait staff on how to properly engage our customers, which will differ
depending on our target market. Employees will wear appropriate attire at all times, and
if there is a complaint, the wait staff should get to the restaurant manager to step in and
help to solve the problem. Being courteous, kind and accommodating, even when faced
with an extremely rude patron, will help our restaurant succeed and build a positive
reputation in the community.
