Dear Mr. Nesmith,

My name is Keelia Swafford. I attended the College of Southern Idaho and

received my associates degree in May of 2021. Last year, I graduated from
Boise State University with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education, dual
endorsed in English and History.

I am interested in your available tenth grade history teaching position. I am

qualified for this position as I have taken the History PRAXIS with a decent
score, and successfully fulfilled my history endorsement at both the college
and university I attended.

I am dedicated to providing a learning experience that is quality and equal to

every student. My goal is to inspire students to love the act of learning itself,
while emphasizing the importance of history and the role it has in our society
through our modern day.

Additionally, I work very well with colleagues and in teams. I find collaborative
work to be some of the most helpful and fulfilling ways to improve my own
teachings and perspectives. I am personable and generally easy to get along
with. If there is conflict, I am always able to resolve it in a calm and timely
manner.
