PROJECT
1- Popsicle Stick Bracelets
■ Steps:
– 1 Gather popsicle sticks, scissors, glue, washi tape,
hot glue, and thread
– 2 Boil water and put in stick. Soak and boil for 30
min.
– 3 Mold them inside a cup to form their shape
– 4 Let dry over night
– 5 Decorate with tape
– 6 Create matching ones
Subject: Integrating an art lesson with learning
holidays. Good project to do for Mother’s Day,
matching bracelets.

2- Paper Beaded Necklaces


■ Steps
– 1 Gather paper, paper straws, glue, scissors, ruler, pencil, glitter, buttons,
transparent thread
– 2 Pick out paper that matches the season you choose
– 3 Draw triangles on the papers
– 4 Cut out triangles. Get a paper straw and apply glue on the cut-out
triangles, then wrap them around the straw
– 5 After wrapping them cut them out to have multiple beads
– 6 String the beads and buttons (optional) on transparent thread
Subject- Science (learning seasons). Integrating seasons with art. Good project
to do in the fall time after a lesson about this season.

3- Glow in the Dark Necklaces
■ Steps
– 1 Gather uncooked pasta noodles, neon paint, zip-seal bags, water, a blacklight, and
yarn
– 2 Place an amount of wanted noodles into the bag. Use one bad per color wanted
– 3 Add neon paint to the bag with 2-3 tablespoons of water
– 4 Close the bags and mix until combined
– 5 Open bags and let try for a few hours
– 6Dry then play with! Add noodles to string to make jewelry and practice patterns
Subject- math or color teaching. This would be a good project to do for teaching colors or
doing a lesson on patterns then having the kids create their own patterns.

4 Glitter Bracelets
■ Steps
– 1 Gather plastic tubing, glitter, beads, cooking oil, painter’s tape, funnel, water, and paper towels
– 2 cut tubing. A large piece for bracelet and a small piece for the plug.
– 3 Put the smaller tubing into the larger piece (use cooking oil to help)
– 4 Put painter’s tape on end of plug
– 5 Put funnel on other end of large tubing
– 6 Fill the pipes with beads and glitter
– 7 Remove funnel and tape.
– 8 Add water
– 9 Remove plug and wrap it around to the other end of the bracelet

5 Alphabet Bead Necklaces


■ Steps
– 1 Gather letter beads, solid beads, and yarn or transparent line
– 2 Teach students the alphabet and have them practice doing their
names
– 3 Have them write their name out before hand
– 4 Put material on table and allow them to find needed letters for their
name
– 5 Assemble necklace while spelling their name
– 6 Tie string or yarn at the end
Subjects- Name learning and alphabet. Do this project after teaching the
kids their names and spelling.

6 Feather Necklace
■ Steps
– 1 Gather feathers, card stock, bird stickers, pony beads, string, tape,
glue, breakaway clasps
– 2 Cut circles out of card stock
– 3 Tape feathers to one side of card stock
– 4 Glue another circle on top of feathered circle
– 5 Punch a hole into top of circle
– 6 Add string to create necklace
– 7 Add beads to the string
Subject- motor skills and social studies. Do this project after teaching
about culture and traditions in other areas.
