Formative Assessment

I really like the exit ticket, I think it is probably one of the best formative assessments to

be utilized in the classroom. This will be used at the end of a lesson, it is meant to understand

what students know or think about the lesson that the teacher had presented to them and basically

checks and gauges their understanding. The questions can be really broad or very specific about

the topic that was discussed. Simple questions could even be asked, like, how do you feel after

this lesson? It also gets students thinking about what they went over for that lesson, and

encourages them to pay attention to material being presented to them. They can just be simple

questionaries or even mini quizzes, an exit ticket is just so versatile.
