Q1 Explain the family background and relationship of Hazrat
Abu Bakr R.A with the Holy Prophet pbuh.pg# 178 Ans. Abu Bakr was born in 573 ADS in the clan of Banu Taym of Makkah. His pre-Islamic name was Abdul Ka'aba. After his conversion to Islam the Holy Prophet pbuh named him Abdullah and later awarded him such great titles as Siddique and Ateeq and he is also called the best of all mankind after prophets. He the son of Abu Qahafa. He led a pious and pure life even before Islam. He was a very close friend of Holy Prophet even before Islam. He was away from the corrupt practices even before Islam. After the Holy Prophet had received the first revelation, he thought of approaching his kinsmen and so he told Abu Bakr R.A the "whole story of his experience.” Abu Bakr responded to his call and immediately embraced Islam. Because of speaking truth, he "as given the title of ' 'Siddique". He had a great love and high respect for the Holy Prophet pbuh. He was a deep observer of the life of the Holy Prophet pbuh and practiced upon each and every teachings of Islam. He died a natural death in I3 AH and was buried alongside the Holy Prophet pbuh. The Holy Prophet pbuh said “ In the day of judgment first of all I will get up from my grave than Hazrat Abu Bakr R.A (Tirmizi)” and “From mankind one helped and served me served his wealth, company and friendship he is Abu Bakr R.A (Tirmizi)”.
