Prayer of Confession Rev. George Haugen

Eternal God, in whom we live and move and have our being, in your perfect love you call us to walk in
your light. In our hardness of heart, we pull away and seek to live life our way. We think we are wise,
and refuse to hear your words of truth and wisdom. God have mercy on us. Forgive us, and help us to
humbly trust you, and seek you first in our lives. Fill our hearts with a hunger to know and love you
more, so that your love may overflow through us to others. (Please continue in silent confession) In
Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
