OPERATION PROCEDURE 2-1. Procedure When Alarm is Active Press the [7] (HELP) key to display a guidance message for the active alarm. 3963-E PS HELP FUNCTION 2:2. Procedure When No Alarm is Active Press the [2] (HELP) key to display the alarm history (log). Each time an alarm occurs, the date, time, alarm No., code, and character string for that alarm are recorded atthe alarm log. Supplementary Information ~ Depending on the intemal processing status, there may be times when the HELP display is inoperative at ‘message or operation procedure display screens, However, the HELP function is operative at nearty all display screens regardless of the mode (AUTO, MDI, or MANUAL), ~ Ifthe [?] (HELP) key is pressed while the HELP screen is displayed, nothing will happen, ~ Inthe following cases, ‘no help message" willbe displayed at the console ine, andthe display screen wil change to one of the screens indicated below. . (1) When an alarm is activated and the [7] key is pressed, but there is no guidance message for that alarm, (2) When an alarm is selected (by cursor) from the alarm history (log), but there is no guidance message for that alarm. Press the PAGE keys to seroll 1 PAGE (15 lines) up or down. OPERATION AT THE ALARM HISTORY (LOG) DISPLAY SCREEN (1) To select the desired alarm using the cursor Use the UP/DOWN cursor control keys to move the cursor to the desired alarm. Use the PAGE keys to scroll 1 PAGE up or down the alarm log screen. After positioning the cursor at the desired alarm, press the [WRITE] key to display the guidance message for that alarm, Guidance messages exist only for alarms A, B, C, and D. There are no messages for alarm P. (2) To select the desired alarm by alarm No. input Enter the No. of the desired alarm at the ten-key pad, then press the [WRITE] key to display the guidance message for that alarm. Guidance messages exist only for alarms A, B, C, and D. “THERE IS NO HELP MESSAGE" will be isplayed at the console line at the following times: a) When the entered No. applies o alarm P, or to an error. ») When the entered No. applies to one ofthe A, B, C, or D alarms, but there is no guidance message for that alarm. The guidance message for that alarm will then be displayed. b) After reading the guidance message, press function key [F7] (QUIT) to retum to the screen, ‘which was displayed prior to pressing the [?] key. (@) When the RESET switch is pressed causing the alarm to disappear a) Press the [7] (HELP) key to display the alarm history (log). ‘The alarms at the log are displayed in chronological order, beginning from the most recent. )_Use the cursor control keys to select the desired alarm. ‘The guidance message for that alarm will be displayed. (3) When the emergency stop button is pressed, causing the alarm which was displayed to change to another alarm a) Press the [7] (HELP) key to display the guidance message for the displayed alarm. b) Press function key [Ft] (Alarm History) to display the alarm log. ©) Use the cursor control keys to select the desired alarm (previously displayed alarm). The guidance message for that alarm will be displayed. (4) For guidance message displays by alarm No. input (even for alarms not isted in the alarm log) 1a) Press the [2] (HELP) key to display the alarm history (log). b) Use the ten-key pad to enter the No. of the desired alarm. ‘The guidance message for that alarm will be displayed.
