March 7 - 14

This week for my internship, I work with Valley, the golden retriever, again with commands and
practice some new commands, along with working on a small obstacle course behind the main
yard where I intern at. At first, Valley was unsure of what to do with each obstacle the first time,
but the second time around the course Valley was much more confident of what to do. I also did
my usual routine at my internship which included feeding the dogs, letting them outside to use
the bathroom, making sure they have enough water, and cleaning their kennels out if they are
dirty enough. My employer at my internship talked to me about what I needed to work on about
myself i.e confidence, communicating clearly for the dogs, and thinking about what I want to do
with the dogs before I do it.
