This week for my internship, I rotated working with the dogs there. I first started with the dogs
that had the most training done and then ended with the dogs that had the least amount of
training, one at a time. The purpose of this was to see the difference between dogs with the
amount of training they had each received and how much that they comprehended. I also
worked with Valley on the obstacle course again to build up his confidence, fed the dogs, made
sure they each had fresh water and cleaned out their kennels when they were dirty. Ulisha and
her puppies were moved into the house and I was able to help set up their bed and the heating
lamp for the puppies. This week will be my final time interning for my employer before she
moves to Texas. But she has told me to keep reading two books when she is gone to learn
about dog behavior. And watch some videos on dog trainers and their training techniques.
