WHY FINANCIAL EDUCATION IN HIGH

SCHOOL IS IMPORTANT?
The objective of high school is to prepare
students, which is ultimately the instance
that prepares and develops the
professional activity that each student
chooses.

But secondary education also has the

mission to train the adolescent in various
issues, topics, teach values, and also
skills so that they can function properly
in the society or community to which
they belong.

Economic decisions are constantly present throughout

our lives. For example, when we decide whether we are
going to save (or not) the bonus we receive at the end of
the year or when we decide how we are going to finance
our children's education costs or a new project.

This is why it would be useful for high school students

who are about to go to college and start living on their
own to know something basic about economic topics.

for this reason, it would be good for schools to start

implementing the subject of economics, replacing some meetings of less important subjects such
as physical education or religion. so that when students enter the real world and have to fend for
themselves, they know how to organize their expenses with respect to the money they have.
